Hello Kids041!!

I have read on here that some with invisalign get cold like symptoms. But I was wondering that myself this morning. Out of no where I keep getting a runny nose! Your sinus cavity is at your jaw line...at least pretty close. So I am wondering if maybe you are right with our teeth moving having anything to do with cold like symptoms.

How are you doing ? Day 5 for me..and I am really good. So looking forward to Tuesday....I hope this one and only thing that is bothering me is taken care of finally!

Anyways..I hope you are having a good Sunday...I am home from work...and should be heading to the gym.

I am doing ok so far. Just a lot of pressure from the teeth. I am still needing to take pain reliever every day, otherwise I am unable to eat easily, and I find that I do have that nagging headache. My day starts out well, but by the evening, my teeth are so tight, and lots of pressure. I know I will be glad when this part passes.
I keep looking for movement every day.. hahaha :o Not sure I have seen any yet, but I keep hoping.
Good luck to you at the dentist!. I know it will make you feel much better to have more of what you expected with your front teeth. Be sure to put pics up if it a big difference :)

When I first looked into the braces thing years ago, I remember reading about some people who experienced a "squishy" feeling when they pressed on their upper cheeks in the sinus cavity area. It seemed to be those who needed significant canine tooth movement, but I'm sure it's something any of us could potentially experience.
Had Damons (ceramic upper, metal lower) from June 27, 2013 - January 20, 2015
15-18 month sentence, official time in braces was 18 months, 3 weeks, 3 days

Yay :jump:
You'll probably be past that hump for now, but will find yourself eating more slowly and in smaller bites .. And with a fork.

Day 10 for me, and I was thinking the same thing. I still can't bite into things very well, but I am eating a salad right now. That is interesting for sure... haha!
I think I see some movement on one of my teeth! Yah!! I have a space between 2 teeth that has never been there before. IT is very tiny, but it is there :) :)

It's great when you start to see some progress however small. I remember the occasion when, for the first time, I was able to push a tiny interdental brush between two of my front teeth and felt elated that it was starting to all come together. Eating will become much easier as you get used to having braces and your new bite and you will quickly adapt to different foods. I ditched lettuce leaves and ate watercress instead after I realised lettuce was more trouble than it was worth.

Well I compared my photos from before, week 1 and week 2. I have visible tooth movement!!!
The lower incisor was really sore for the last 2 days, and I did not really think anything of it, just figured that roving tooth pain that I get. Well I took pics tonight, and compared them... WHHOO!!! I can see the difference :) IT has come up to be level with the rest of the teeth. It has been shorter then the other one and the surrounding teeth.. not any more :jump: :jump: :jump: There is some minor other changes, but the bottoms are the most I can notice :)
Braces really work :)

I think I have some movement also!! I am beginning to see a little gap between my front teeth...that has not been there before! And my teeth on top feel different to my tongue! I am excited!! Things are working the way they are suppose to!

JenkK! HI I have been wondering about how you are doing too!!

So far today- I seem to be doing better.. Yesterday was just a rough day with the braces. I will think positive and have a better day.
So I keep looking for some other sign of movement besides the bit I have noticed, and all I can see/feel is a couple of bumps on my inside upper cheeks from the back unwired brackets. <sigh>.....That is what was giving me such problems yesterday. Every time I smile, or open my mouth wider then anything those bumps/lumps catch on the brackets and hurt :(
I did resort to using wax all day and night yesterday on one side, and it does seem to be better today- so hopefully that was the trick.
How are you fairing? I saw your post about the dry mouth and candy.. I posted a product that may help you ... go take a look

Kidso41!!

I hope you had a good week! I am doing ok. Seems like these things in my mouth change dailey! Somedays I hardly feel them until I talk. And there are days like today..they seem to be tighter. I even used the wax again this week. I am hoping that means things are moving. Besides that....and by no mean complaining!...all is good here!!

Anyone have days when you just wish you could spit out all the hardware when you swish?!
I am waxed to the max and have no complaints. I'm almost a month into this journey already!
