I was hoping to have my braces removed by october but recently i was told it was going to take longer. I have one tooth on the top right and one tooth bottom left to move the rest are all striaght but with gaps. so next time i go in on the 20 October il be have a new archwire which is thicker than the one iv got now. My orth said it has to be bigger to close the gaps
But on the plus side iv had no broken brackets, iv only ever had the one archwire soon to two, no powerchains just tie wires at the back and no need for elastics
Braces are the like the yin and yang of life , uos and downs but well worth it
Hi river.... Sorry that things are going to take longer for you. That's one of my fears, but I agree with KK - you've come this far already - a bit longer to get things perfect will hopefully be worth it in the end.
At least the end is in sight now - I can't wait to get mine off!! (2 years and counting!!)
