I'm also new to this site, considering having braces in the next 2 to 3 weeks and hoping to find some good stories that push me into taking the plunge :)

Good luck to everyone who will be getting them soon! I am 39 and 6 months into my treatment. While I still dont like them, I dont regret getting them. I was embarrassed of my teeth anyway so I may as well be embarrassed while getting them fixed. (my insecurity, most people arent embarrassed of braced)

Newbie here too! I'm getting braced on Tuesday. I love reading all these posts about what to expect, how it felt, the braces diet, etc... I'm both nervous and excited at the same time :)

Wow so many of us getting braces around the same time, so exciting to be going through it with others and so good to have experienced people help out with questions. Love this site (thanks admin)

Mine will be on next fri.

Lcfcsi there are great stories and pics that really encouraged me to go ahead.

Hi all, I'm Clare, I'm 30 and based in the UK. Unless I wimp out in the next few days then Im getting Six Month Smiles braces on 20th February. I'm really scared about it! But this forum is helping a lot. Good to know there are so many of us in the same boat. Good luck to everyone.
