screws visible through gums!

i am on 7 months post op. now and i could feel the screws through my gums? i had asked about this to my surgeon last time but he said it's nothing to worry about.but i do think it could lead to complications later,does any of you have experienced this or have a proper answer to what should i do next,does loose screws or plates can change the outlook of your face?

I have one of those I can feel, too. I'm four months out. It's really no concern, as long as it isn't hurting you. Your bones have already healed enough that they would be stable without any screws at all. Just don't bother it with your tongue unnecessarily.
