I have never, not a single time, even with all the movement...had a pokey wire. Is that weird?!?

SJB I got silver at this appointment and it doesn't bother me at all that the powerchain is "noticeable"

I usually use arm & hammer toothpaste...It does it over time (remove the staining)

U wont really see results after one day of brushing..

Also it helps if you brush right after eating a staining food.....like coffee or curry...I rinse my mouth and brush right away so the staining doesn't have time to set...

Works for me!!! I mean eventually the clear ligs WILL turn colours....but at least it wont be in the very beginning and more close to ur next appointment.

Amazing insight guys, truly. Mrs Charisma - Thank you for the tips of the trade here, I'll probably be going the same route as you with some silver ones... I like my curries.

Oh my gosh. Every time I open my big mouth...

I had an adjustment on Wednesday, just new ligs, no wire changes. 2 days later, what do I get? Poking wires! Both sides of the upper arch - ouch!!!!! I didn't want to drive the 20 minutes to the ortho so we sterilized wire cutters and my husband trimmed them.

Good grief. :P

Good luck SJB!!
