i got snow this year!!! it is the first time i experienced snow in US. Now, it is white outside. school cancelled.

why have braces: two upper lateral teeth had incurable infection
Jan. 8, 2014 - got brackets on
Jan. 9 morning, 2014 - got 5-tooth extraction, including one wisdom teeth
Jan. 9 afternoon, 2014 - got wires on

wow, congrats and very nice! wait til you see how quickly your teeth will move!

my ortho said absolutely no soft drinks. Something about the carbonation being bad. So, I haven't had soda since, but it was not a big deal for me since I hardly ever drank soda before anyway.

Maybe I should stop soda also. I'm 30 and just got braces 10 days ago.

hi sara....yes, if you can, stop the soft drinks. I read about it being bad for teeth in braces too.
