New member. Front teeth gaps.

#1 Post by mehulparekh »

I have around 2-3 mm. gap in my front teeth and there is also small gap after that teeth. There is also overjet problem.
Started wearing braces as adult , age 37 and wondering if any one had this issue and how long it takes to fix?

I am kind of nervous as not sure if metal braces can fix the space problem because all teeth needs to move and thats why seems imposible. anyone can share experience?

I had my 2 upper canines extracted which left considerable gaps. This was to fix a protruding upper jaw. The gaps have almost become nil but this is after nearly 5 months of braces and power chain.
So I do definitely think that it is possible to remove the gaps with braces.
