Thanks everyone!! I just had my 13th adjustment - no changes today, only new ligs. Still waiting on that space to close between my lateral and canine. He wants to try to let it close naturally. Boooo! :) He was very excited again with how good my bite looks, how things are lining up and how tissue isn't inflamed at all from my diastema closing. I am excited to know that at some point in 2014 I will be debanded!!! LOL!

klipstine1 - I have no clue. I am not that into the treatment like many others. Just that I have ceramic on top, metal on bottom. I've had wires changed a few times with 2 or 3 rounds of a reverse curve wire on the lower arch. Otherwise? I show up every 4 weeks on schedule :oops:

Month 14. Into the boring "not much is happening anymore" phase.

I got "over under" powerchains which I *think* means I have a powerchain under my wire and then like normal, over my wire. Trying to close that last space.

The ortho did say I'd be done "on the early side".

BUT WHEN!?!?!?!?!? :lol: :-*

Holy cow do I have pressure this month -BUT- the stubborn tooth has moved!! The 1 mm space is probably down to 1/2 mm. Here's hoping it's closed by next month!

Month 15! Today I got hope....HOPE!!! :)

He took what he said was a final x-ray. He repositioned one bracket.

And then...THEN!!!!

He said, "Let's tweak that tooth and wrap this up."

Soooo come on tooth! Move into your proper position so I can get my debanding date! :-D

It is bittersweet OF!

I had braces (and nice straight teeth) about 10 years ago. And never wore my retainer. So I simultaneously kick myself and marvel at my nice teeth :oops: Definitely won't happen THIS time!
