May 8th adjustment (almost 16 months in). I got another bracket repositioned and went to a lighter wire on top (to allow easier movement). I also got a figure 8 to keep my front teeth together. No power chain this time.

We are trying to close this space and shift this tooth into position.

June 3rd adjustment. No news. We will see if it closes and if not do an "over under" at the July adjustment to close the space.

Getting close to the end now.

Your teeth look amazing, with the rate of your progress, I'm sure by next time it'll be perfect and the doctor will give you a debanding appointment! In the mean time, good luck! Hope that rogue tooth doesn't hurt too bad while it's moving!
Sentence:
28 months in full upper and lower braces, open coil spring for additional alignment space for permanent teeth to erupt, elastics to align back bite, bite turbos, and palate expander.

I keep telling myself that this HAS to be it. That at my July appointment he will set a date of August or September. Right? RIGHT?!!?!??!?! :mrgreen:

And I am totally enamored with my teeth. Thank you :) I cannot wait to be brace free and see them in all of their aligned glory! lol!

Still no debanding date.

My roots are straight.
My bite is good.

He thinks that maybe, just maybe, it's the shape of my teeth and this is as good as it's going to get.

Which...I'm okay with trying one more time to reposition a bracket and then I'm done. September, they are coming off.

It is SUCH a tiny space (my face is turned a bit...they aren't crooked! :lol: )

The top is the "offending" side. The bottom is the other side.

Both tip forward a bit (even with straight roots!) So it may just be that there is "more tooth" on the closed side, allowing it to make contact with the canine.

We are going to *very slightly* reposition the two lateral incisor brackets later this month and see how that goes.

Your teeth look awesome. My braces are already off, and I wish my teeth looked as good as yours.

I don't have any posted...we still have some work to do, and I'm not all that jazzed with how mine look, so I haven't posted anything. My teeth and their shape are just not as naturally "pretty" as others I've seen here, including yours. Mine de-braced look about like I expected them to unfortunately. Makes me jealous of others, but very happy for you guys at the same time.
