I'm starting to feel like this tooth is actually going to turn and fit into my arch.  :D :-* :jump:

In other exciting news, I only have 6 more payments on my braces. Potentially 18 more months of wearing them, but boy it will be nice when they are paid off.

I am SO excited, went to my 11th adjustment yesterday and they were finally able to put a regular bracket on my wonky tooth as it had finally turned enough. :-*

I feel like maybe some progress will happen now!

Last night I could REALLY feel the pain starting on the bottom front, and this morning it is worse, I am welcoming the pain as I know it means movement!

That's awesome! Did they end up putting a new wire on too?

I am not sure how I missed this... but, yes they put a new wire on the bottom...

So far, my bottom arch is all kinds of wonky now. He told me at my last adjustment that he will probably have to do some more filing at my next adjustment (which is next week). I am not looking forward to that, but I sure want this tooth to fit in and straighten my arch back out!

Awe thanks!

I had another adjustment last Thursday. Have my red and green Christmas colors now :)

I go back for another adjustment only 4 weeks from last one... He is trying to get this wonky tooth to turn still.

I don't feel like it's doing anything.

Haha the lig wearers are entertaining, you choose all these fancy celebratory colors and stuff lol and me getting a blue power chain is stepping way out of my comfort zone...

I get you on the 'not much is happening' end of things, can be pretty frustrating!

Take care!

You should branch out with that snazzy smile of yours! Hopefully this will be your last chance in life to wear fun lig colors ;)

I feel like absolutely nothing is changing on my crazy wonky tooth, I thought he would put a chain on it to help it turn but he has had no mention of that, I remember another tooth that didn't need to turn as much as this one - he put a chain on and it turned right away...makes me wonder why he hasn't done that with this one?

Anyway, no change... next adjustment on Dec. 18.

Going today for my 13th adjustment (if I have the count right...they are all starting to run together).

I don't see much change with this wonky tooth still...it's starting to feel hopeless.

Updated pics... my daughter picked the red and green for Christmas...but I'm going back to my pink today :)

I keep looking at it thinking, yes it is turning... then other days I look at it and think, all that is happening is the teeth around it are moving. ha!

Adjustment went well enough, got a new thicker wire on the lower arch, nothing changed with top as usual. He spaced me out 6 weeks this time because he said he wanted to give this heavier wire time to work. I still haven't been brave enough to ask how long he thinks I have left... I'm 16 months in... original timeline was estimated to be 24-30 months...

Was it a rectangular wire? If it is that'll align things nicely.

16 months for me too! I go for my adjustment in the morning (jan 6 th) and I'm hoping to hear some good news!

Take care, happy new year btw!

I think it's the smallest rectangular one there is LOL...it is nowhere near as thick as my top wire.

So far I don't see it moving along...but it might be?

How did your adjustment go Tuesday?

I have my 14th adjustment today (I think it's number 14?).

I have not noticed any change in this crazy rebel tooth. I am going to try to get up the nerve to ask him how much longer he thinks I have. Not sure if I want to hear the answer.

My daughter is coming with me, so there is no telling what color ligs I will end up with this time.
