Post braces questions? Need help

#1 Post by Bengals1418 »

Hello everyone! :D I got my braces off three years ago. I used to wear my retainers regularly and then lost them and had to get them again. I used to be on and off with it. I went to my orthodontist recently and he said my teeth are still pretty good but not like they used to be. Is there any type of inexpensive way to get them back to how they were. I have been wearing my regular retainers now. I have heard hawley retainers are good for this. Im including some pics. any feedback would be helpful. thanks.

About two months before taking off braces.

does anyone know any information on this? I realized I do have a hawley retainer. I have looked online and some say that these retainers can fix minor movement so I was just wondering if anyone has any information on this

If your ortho still has your molds from when your first retainer was made, ask if they can have a positioner made. It is the best thing for teeth retention.
I wear an essix but I also have a positioner. If your teeth shift, with proper wear of the positioner, it will put your teeth back in the proper place.

One of the assistant's had braces removed over 15 years ago, she wears her positioner 1 night a week and her teeth look awesome.
