I will be getting braces soon, hopefully within the month! I just made my appointment for my extractions and I'll be getting my braces as soon as I can reasonably (and relatively painlessly) do so!

Just got my invisalign this year and I'm 35. My parents didn't make it a priority as a kid and I couldn't afford to do it (and wasn't that eager to do it in my 20s). It took a stable job (with good dental insurance) and a fear that I'd eventually develop gum/bone problems where I'm crowded to force me to take the plunge.
The problems:
Lower crowding, a slightly rotated upper canine and a deep bite

I'm 27 and just got my bottom ones ! I'm having SARPE surgery in 4 weeks and will be getting the top ones in January if everything goes well !
I'm such a baby, it's been 3 days and I can't chew anything haha so I'm a little worried for after my surgery.

I am 43 and just got my uppers on 5 days ago. Bottoms should go on in about 2 months.

I am now 25 and decided to get braces when I was 21 after I was told the crowding of my teeth was causing a lot of the tartar build up problems on my lower teeth and braces would not only help minimize my chronic problem, but my smile would be perfect too!

I didn't get it done earlier because I had to get my wisdom teeth removed first, and I only started working at the time and dental insurance did not kick in yet. I wanted to pay for it myself instead of my parents paying it for me. Then I got married to a bloke who lives in the Netherlands and is intent on staying on because the opportunities were greater for him there. So that meant it made more sense to move first and then get it organized. Dental didn't kick in until the beginning of the year in 2015, so finally now in October my braces are on today, after 4 teeth extractions. Whew!

I was about 13 first time i had them, which was just with my dentist sorting them. Now at 27, I am still saving up to go to a real orthodontist to get my teeth sorted again!

Hi ..am 28 yrs old..n i got braced 2 weeks ago...i kept putting it off all my life telling myself that my teeth werent that bad actually
...but i am glad that i finally took da plunge

I just got braces for the first time a couple months ago at 19 and i should be getting them off at 21 (during 3 out of 4 years of college).

I'll be 25 on Monday and am getting them sometime by the new year, having my impressions sent away to get linguals made up very soon!
