Tried to upload a pic on here straight from my iphone but it keeps saying the file is too large! Did you upload straight from your phone?

Yeah just a standard selfie should upload. When I've tried uploading collages it says too large. But it let me upload single photos :)

Sorted it by emailing myself the photo as a small file then saving it. I'm actually embarrassed to put this photo on here cos it looks so much worse than i thought but here goes

mines rotated which is apparently hardest thing to correct. An he says it's a simple case so just pushing a tooth forward would be quick I'd imagine. Maybe ring the dentists u are considering up and ask if u can email a picture to see what they think.

The good news is that he's replied already! The bad news is that he says from looking at the picture it looks like i have a crossbite so Invisalign may be the more suitable treatment rather than the Inman Aligner :(

Invisalign is really expensive isn't it and takes a lot longer? I will still probably go and see him for the free consultation because he did say i still might be able to have the IA but he would need to see me

I'm not very happy, last time I saw the dentist he said that I only needed to wear the aligner at night now because they are in place but I feel like only wearing it at night has caused them to move so I am still not happy with the final shape. Also I had impressions for my retainer 2 weeks ag and I have a feeling it isn't going to fit now because I feel like they have moved so much. How are they ever going to stay in place if this is what happens in the space of 2 weeks!
I recall somebody else having this problem a few weeks ago, I have looked back a few pages but can't remember who it was, how did you get on??
Hope everyone is ok xx

I reckon if the retainer doesn't fit u should wear Inman a lot for a couple weeks to push them back into place again then start wearing retainer. Just keep wearing it all day! Better off if just night isn't enough.
My meeting was cancelled so went today! He filed more so hoping for a lot of movement now but can't get back in now for 6 weeks!! So busy! Wanted another filing sesh before my sisters wedding beginning of August to do a big final push but there's nothing til mid August!
I reckon if u need more appts book 2 at once cos even monthly ones are hard to get now.
He said mine isn't too loose it's just that my teeth have moved but he will tighten it next time. Glad I didn't break it! Ha xx

Hi Claire, it was me that posted about my teeth moving after being told only to wear it at night. That was about two weeks ago and unfortunately my teeth still aren't how they were before! I am back at the dentist tomorrow so I will let you know how it goes

Hello everyone.

Blimey what a palaver the last few weeks have been. It was me that had the retainer that didn't fit so had to postpone sending my aligner off for a week as I went away to Canada. got back 10 days ago and saw the dentist as soon as I got back and he had to literally cut big chunks out of the retainer ( looks like an Invisalign tray) out just so that it would fit around the bottom and front and far back teeth so they wouldn't move whilst he sent my brace off for a week to change the power chain for a labial bow
So I got it back today with the labial bow on now and my God is it horrendous. I can't even close my mouth comfortably and it keeps sticking under my top lip which is really irritating. I have have my teeth filled again And he wants to see me in 2 weeks time to see if it needs one more turn to finish it off. Had it on for just over 2 months and 3/4 weeks of that has been wasted with no movement or treatment for one reason or another so I am still pretty impressed with how quick it works.

Becki sorry to hear your poorly. I wish you a speedy recovery Hun

Oh god! What the hell is a liable bow! Sounds painful! I hope you're finished soon.
I had my last appointment today I'm 100% done!!!!!!!!!
Can't quite believe it!
He said my teeth have slightly moved as I've just been wearing the aligner at night but I had the composite blobs on my teeth when he took the moulds so my retainer does fit - although a little tight.
I also picked up my whitening trays :-D
He mentioned something interesting today, the only thing that put me off having a fixed retainer was being unable to floss properly. He said he has just discovered a new type of fixed retainer that is not in a straight line but it zig zags so doesn't get in the way of flossing. He does them for £100 for anyone interested!
