Hi, I am currently 24 year old. My mouth and teeth mildly protrudes, looks like Bi-max protrusion, especially evident from the side. I also have full lips as well. I am planning to consult with an orthodontist about having some teeth extracted to pull both upper and lower teeth back with braces. Will I get a 'flatter profile' after? In other words, will the braces fix my mouth protrusion? And will my lips look smaller after my teeth are pulled back? Any insight is appreciated; thank you in advance. Braces (with the extraction of your 4 first premolars) will normally fix your bimax protrusion and get your profile perfectly straight.
Do you suffer from lip incompetence too?
