Wear trays at nights only whilst waiting for refinement sets

Hello everyone

I've just scanned my teeth again (with attachment on) and waiting for refinement set to come in.

My ortho asked me to wear my current trays (which I have been wearing for 2 weeks) at nights only until the refinement trays arrive, he said it's good to give a break to the teeth.

My questions are:

1. Is it normal to scan the teeth with attachments on for refinement set?

2. I am surprised that my ortho asked me to wear the current tray at nights only until the refinement set arrive. I tried it for one day and when I put the tray back on at night, I could feel the teeth have been shifted quite a lot as if I am putting on a new tray. As much as I am enjoying the freedom of snacking at anytime during day time, I am worried this is not a normal process and it will impact my current progress?

3. How many refinements can we do per treatment? Is it as many times as it's needed?

I'm not sure about the scanning with the attachments on, I know I definitely get mine removed when I get rescanned next month but I'm not sure if they will remove the attachments before or after.
My orthodontist told me I will only have to wear my tray at night time also whilst waiting for refinements, he did mention that it will feel tight at first when I put it back in of a night time but it's just the teeth not being settled.
I get 3 refinements with my treatment, my ortho told me he's never had to do more than two for someone in his whole Invisalign career. I think most places include a few

This is really useful! I'm not aware that it's normal to wear them at night only while waiting for refinement. I read a different post saying the ortho asked him to wear the tray as much as possible after he told him he felt the tray feel very tight after wearing it at night only. In my case, I feel like wearing a new tray again if I only put them on at night only.

I wonder whether that's normal or whether I should just let it be as that's how it meant to be...does anyone know?
