Hello everyone, I'm so glad I found this site. I recently got braces, it's only been 3 days and I'm ready to take them off... BUT I'M NOT... Any advice to cope with the pain, besides meds...

No advice other than wax and ibuprofen.... I am right there with you... day5 for me and I too have waited a lifetime. I am ready for the 2year off mark NOW!

I agree! Eating is a painful experience and I'm so tired of the metal rubbing the inside of my mouth. Some of my teeth feel almost loose and I can't stop clenching my teeth.

Try warm salt water rinses and wax is your best friend! When your teeth are not so sensitive, ice cream does help with the soreness and aching feeling too. Congrats on starting and all the best in your journey!
