I'm new here, been lurking for a little while!
I got braces last August after having ignored the problem for a while. My teeth were never perfect; they were straight, but I had a gap bewtween my two front teeth and a very slight overbite. I decided to jump the gun and just get it fixed for once when I saw all my friends getting theirs off and their teeth looking fab! I realized that the 'rents wouldn't pay for it if I got it done any later!
I've had them for six months now but the ortho says I'm moving on to rubber bands which he says is the last stage. He told me this could take up to ten months but usually much less. So, I am excited about hopefully getting them off sometime this year!
