Ok, so I had some strawberry gelato this past weekend and within about 30 minutes of eating it my clear ligs were bright yellow. You would have thought I ate a bottle of mustard. I have googled the ingredents but can't figure out what caused this. Has anyone else had this problem? I have eaten strawberries many other times and have not had them turn yellow like this. I have managed to reduce some of the coloring but the yellow is still there.
I can only imagine that the constituent ingredients include more than just strawberry flavouring and that one of them is causing the discolouration. Can you ask the vendor what they put in it?
